Care Ministry

Care Ministries are the ministries that bring care and support to people in our community.

There are three groups that serve:

  • Lay Shepherds are the ministers of The Ransom Church who bring worship, prayer and visitation to the people in our communities. Those receiving the visit, do not have to attend the Ransom to receive a visit from us, just your invitation.

Lay Shepherds participate in the following but not limited too:

Minnehaha County Jail
Nursing Homes
Juvénile Detentions Center
Chaplains Program

Would you like to request a VISIT from a member of our team?  Click here to let us know.

  • Care Groups are ministries that help people through very difficult times.  For a list of available groups CLICK HERE!

  • Meals on Me – (MOM’s) are meals brought to homes for families who just need a meal for a few days due to a hospital stay or a funeral.
