Care Ministries are the ministries that bring care and support to people in our community.
There are three groups that serve:
- Lay Shepherds are the ministers of The Ransom Church who bring worship, prayer and visitation to the people in our communities. Those receiving the visit, do not have to attend the Ransom to receive a visit from us, just your invitation.
Lay Shepherds participate in the following but not limited too:
Minnehaha County Jail
Juvénile Detentions Center

- Care Groups are ministries that help people through very difficult times. Check out these groups that meet at various times throughout the
Grief Share – Grief share is designed to help you with loss of a family member or friend. Grief Share is a safe place where you can share about your loved ones, and learn how to navigate your journey of grief. You can grow in your love for God and experience the healing only He can provide.
Divorce Care – Divorce Care is designed to help you with divorce and the struggle that follows.
- Meals on Me – (MOM’s) are meals brought to homes for families who just need a meal for a few days due to a hospital stay or a funeral.
