kids

We are so excited to have your kids join us! Our hope is that each child will encounter Jesus to become who God made them to be. We strive to teach them in age-appropriate and meaningful ways through our 3 core values; Worship Free of Inhibition, Live Free of Sin, and Serve Free of Self.

Ransom Kids (0-5th grade) meet during our Sunday worship gatherings at 8, 9:30, + 11a.

These kids want to experience the world around them in the context of relationships. We will have small group play time, interactive worship, age-appropriate Bible lessons followed by activities to reinforce the Bible lesson.

first time here?

Here is what to expect when you visit Ransom Kids for the first time:
We have a specific check-in area just for kids and families. There, we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and one of our team members will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

CHECKING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME:

We will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child’s name
  • Child’s birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

check-in instructions

BEFORE GATHERING:
At Ransom Church, we use a computerized check-in system that identifies each child with a unique code. You can check in your child at any available IPad. We will have a team member wearing a red lanyard standing by if you have any questions. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are unique to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching tag.

DURING GATHERING:
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on both of the side screens during worship. We ask that you exit the gathering and look for a staff member or team member who will direct you to your child’s room.

AFTER GATHERING:
Please keep your tag and bring it with you to pick up your child. If you do not have your tag, you will need to print another one before picking your child up. No person will be allowed past the check-in area without a parent name tag or a team member lanyard.

family dedication

We believe that baptism is a public declaration of an individual’s decision to follow Christ. Since infants are not capable of making that decision, we reserve baptism for a time when an individual is old enough to understand the decision to accept Christ as Savior.

Family dedication is a time for you to publicly declare your commitment to raise your child to know and love Jesus. It’s also a time to welcome grandparents, friends, and other relatives who are crucial in supporting you in your journey.
