My oldest friend Lisa(45yrs) has a brain injury like myself. She has been dealing with this for 3 decades and is doing quite poorly mentally and physically. She got covid a year ago and had temporary hearing loss. Her hearing returned. She got covid again 4 months ago and all her hearing was gone and hasn't returned. She is already a prisoner in her own home and rarely ever sees real people and sunlight. She has been to many specialists for the hearing loss and now she is at the surgery stage. Although, this might work she is allergic to the pain meds she will need to recover from the surgery. So, more pain for her to endure. I am asking that she just gets totally healed and if the Lord allows her to go through the surgery processs, he lessens her pain so she can endure it. There is also a mental component to this and I fear she might choose to not keep fighting onward. Your prayers are appreciated,

Update on my sister. I am pretty sure that last conversation we had was the last one we will have. She did go home last weekend. I tried to contact my brother in law but no answer. I now get updates about her from one of her friends that has been letting me know what's going on and sending me an occasional picture. One of my cousins visited her and let me know how she was. In reaching out to family members on both sides of the family, I have learned that they all knew she was sick. She had reached out to them. I am sure they probably figured out I would know because I am her sister but I didn't. She almost died two weeks ago and was willing to die rather than reach out to me. I have done my part by reaching out to her. I told her I loved her. So I am at peace with that part but it feels like someone cut a piece of my heart out knowing that she dislike me so much she would rather die and let me find out after the fact. She's been sick since December. She lost her job a month ago and has been going downhill quite rapidly since then. I know I have family in various forms but I will be the last of my immediate family and that is a very lonely feeling. I don't even know what to ask for in prayers other than that I pray she has found Christ and the peace that goes with it and that he takes her home peacefully.

Please pray for my marriage (James and Angela )that it would be founded on the word of God and committed to the integrity, character and loyalty of the Kingdom of God. Pray that we would know and do Gods purpose and will for our lives. Pray that the Lord Jesus Christ mold our marriage according to his will and that it may be a witness and testimony of the love of Christ for His church. Pray that we never lose our first love for Jesus and each other. Strenghten our commitment to our marriage vows. Pray that we see past each others faults, keeping our mouth shut of any criticism, knowing God is still at work in each of us. Help us to keep our marriage sacred in Gods sight. Help keep us from any arguments, even when there is a disagreement. Pray that our romance will maintain the level of when we first met and increase as the days pass. Keep our bodies healthy and vibrant. Pray that the Lord would keep us in the place of serving one another in love and assisting with each other’s needs. Remove all selfishness and that Jesus Christ presence will be in everything we do together. Pray for blessings in our marriage that it would prosper with health, wealth, wisdom and love, for the glory of God. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.

This is the message I received just a short time ago....... prayers for a peaceful passing, that she found Christ and prayers for jer husband and kids.... Hi Cindy - I received this update from Sue's friend, Chris, who has been providing

Ing guidance medically. It's not good. If you want to say goodbye to her, I would recommend coming to Minneapolis in the next couple of days.

So the conference was with the medicine and palliative care team. Ron and both kids and myself the palliative team did a fabulous job they told family she is terminal and will not recover. They are encouraging basically DNI/DNR sue asked for a timeline which they would not say however told her she should get her affairs in order within the next several days. Several of the peds docs came by today and all said they do not believe she will leave the hospital

Sue wants to be at home I tried to discourage that as the team reports she requires 24/7 nursing care she said they would pay out of pocket. I got the sense that family will try to give her what she wants so at this time I feel like I need to back out even though sue did not want Ron to be able to make her medical decisions

Update on my sister.....just heard from a friend of hers that she is dying. She is in the hospital and as of last night was unresponsive. Prayers for a peaceful time and that she is not in pain. Prayers for me for the guilt of not trying harder to reconcile. I am the last member of my immediate family. I asked her friend to relay a message to her that I loved her. Not sure whether she will get it in time or hear it.

Praises and thanks for answered prayer! I received a pretty confident OK from my ophthalmologist that my left eye is holding steady after a procedure done in May. I no longer use drops for glaucoma in that eye! Praise Jesus for healing

Please pray for Swan Lake Christian Camp. They received significant flood damage and had to cancel senior high camp. Several cabins will need significant repairs to reopen for the rest of the summer camps.
