My sister was on the wall a couple of weeks back because of an awful infection on her arm due to a scratch. She goes for an appointment tomorrow because there was some improvement but now seems to be getting bad again. Prayer for her anxiety over this and healing. Axel (2 yrs) is having surgery this week! Pray for surgery and recovery. Tomorrow is first day back to work. Prayers all goes well. I was hoping to be able to transfer out of the toxic department I am in but unfortunately can't at this time. Please pray for my father in law as he undergoes a hip replacement this morning. Please pray for my family. My cousin, Erika, "beat" breast cancer only to find out it's in her brain, lungs, and possibly her liver. Her 7 year old is putting in a brave face but people know she's hurting. Erika and I we like sister/brother as kids. The doctors say Erika has a few months. I know God's got it but it hurts all of us. Healing is going well. I don't need the cane at home and only really need it when out as a safety precaution. I am finally able to sleep in my bed and also am able to drive again. Nice not to have to be a burden on my daughter. Therapy is going well and progressing the way it should. Starting to actually want to go back to work but that's about a month away. I guess prayers that everything continues to improve but praise to God for the outcome and progress. My mom was diagnosed a year ago with heart failure. I knew nothing about what this entailed at the time, almost a year later we have tried the options the hospital has given her for any improvement. Day by day I can see her struggle more just to stand from a sitting position or to walk small distances. Her only option would be a heart transplant and we all know she doesn’t have that much time. - BUT - we have found a hospital in Mexico that specifically specializes in patients with heart failure, and proving an aggressive treatment plan that includes stem cell transplant. It’s not legal in the United States , it is a Hail Mary to help her, but God please stay with her and protect her every moment. I believe there is a reason I just started to get involved with church once again and I choose to hope it’s a way to help guide both herself and me to see the bigger picture. Please pray with me to help keep her safe during this entire process and let her know how loved she is. My company decided to eliminate remote positions, so I was told to relocate to Nebraska or lose my job. My family is doing so well here in Sioux Falls, that moving was not an option right now. Therefore, I lost my job on the 15th. I had to leave a team that was like family (I worked with them for 10 years). My prayer is that God puts me where he needs me and that I can find a flexible position to still be there for my family like I have been. Also that I can find another great work family.Lc
